She was predeceased by : her parents, Matthew Green and Jessie Dyer McLean; her husband Leonard Ball; her brother-in-law Frankie Ball; and her nephews, Chris and Payson.

She is survived by : her children, Diane Cole (Perry), Johnny Cunningham (Greta) and Lane Ball; her stepdaughter Loretta Bradley; her grandchildren, Troy Cunningham, Justin Ball, Jonathan Cunningham, Jennifer Cunningham, Richard Krump and Payton Ball; her stepgrandchildren, Amanda, Denise and Whitney; and her brothers-in-law, Gene Ball (Clara) and Billy Ball.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home (669 US-19, Bryson City, NC 28713). A reception was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
