She was predeceased by : her parents, Glenn Breedlove and Mae Dehart Breedlove; her husband William Vance Winchester; and her sisters, Hazel Welch and Bobbie York.

She is survived by : her children, Cathy Kinsey (Ronnie) of Cashiers, Sandy Morgan of Cullowhee, Arlene Burns (Henry) of Bryson City, Ervin Winchester (Cindy) of Bryson City, Michael Winchester (Dee) of Colorado Springs and Angie Collins (Shannon) of Bryson City; her siblings, Alvin Breedlove and Jean Brooks; and her grandchildren, Scott, Eric, Michael, Cory, Jason of Shawn, MJ, Chris, Tiffany, Kathleen, Aaron and Brian. She is also survived by nieces nephews and special friends.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home (669 US-19, Bryson City, NC 28713).
