She was predeceased by : her parents, Claude Bowman and Nora Bowman; her husband Jesse Elliott; her son Jimmy Elliott; her grandson Joseph Sabella; and her close friend Brownie.

She is survived by : her children, Pam Sabella (Joe) and Jesse Elliot Jr. (Mary Anne); her grandchildren, Maggie Elliott, Chelsea Elliott, Taylor Sabella, Ben Elliott and Jake Elliott; and her siblings, Shirley Greene and Jack Bowman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, special family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please consider carrying on Ida's love for dogs through memorial donations to P.A.W.S. of Bryson City, 57 Lemons Branch Rd, Bryson City, NC.
