Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jessie Marie Wiggins Hampton (Bryson City, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 92, on April 13, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jim Wiggins and Carrie Jenkins Wiggins; her brothers, W. J., Clyde and Robert Wiggins; and her grandchildren, Chris Wiggins and Jamie Teague.

She is survived by : her children, Roger Wiggins (Celeste) and Sheila McCabe; her sisters, Inez Talent, June Cochran (Wayne) and Francis Cook; her grandchildren, Dr. William Wiggins (Tiffany), Dr. Whitney Gilchrist (Joel) and Joey Teague; her great grandchildren, Colby and Carter Kirkland; and her grandchildren, Logan, Savanna, Layla Wiggins, Connor and Cameron Teague. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home (669 US-19, Bryson City, NC 28713). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
