She was predeceased by: her parents, James Adam McMahan and OlaBell Wykle McMahan; and her siblings, Arthur B. McMahan, Dallas McMahan (Jessie Hampton), Alice McMahan Queen (James), Clara Mae McMahan (Broad) and Fronnie McMahan Bashaw (Ed).
She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Hyde Wade of Bryson City, NC., Patricia Hyde Fisher (Timothy) of Bryson City, NC. and Sherri Hyde Garrett (late Joshua) of Bryson City, NC.; her siblings, Carlos McMahan (Carmen Cline), Walter McMahan (late Wanda) and Pearl McMahan Bailey (Harold); her grandchildren, Justin Wade (Shona), Brandi Sequoyah, Tessa Page of Timothy, Fisher Jr., Cody George (Chloe), Shelby George, Elijah Bryce Rogers and Josiah Rogers; and her great grandchildren, Jaden Wade, Corbin Wade, Azuriah Sequoyah, Taliyah Sequoyah, Deacon Sequoyah, Jaiden Bygrave, Jalani Bygrave, Bentley Robertson, Braxton Fisher, Jareth George and R'mya Moore.
In lieu of flowers, donations for the purchase of bibles may be made to the Gideon's Ladies Auxiliary, Swain Co Camp.
