She is survived by: her husband Jerald Ray Tigrett (Jerry); her daughter Cari Cummings (Phillip Odom); her grandchildren, Katlin Beck (Kayla), Emily Patterson, Mason Odom and Grayson Odom; her son William Samuel Cummings (David); her grandchildren, Michael Cummings (Tito), Brittany Nicole Cummings and Brandon Cummings; her stepdaughter Samantha Layton (Donnie); her grandson Scott Layton; her great grandchildren, Halle Rhea Cummings, Jaxson Reid Cummings, Kenzie Aerabella Dunning, Case Remington Butler, Colt Benjamin Butler, Brantley Thomas Heflin, Brewer Lee Heflin and Baylor Lee Heflin; and her friends, Jayne, Dwight West, Tim, Theresa Rhoe and Benny Barefoot.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM at the O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home (1310 S Main St, Lillington, NC 27546). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Chapel (1310 S Main St, Lillington, NC 27546). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery (400 Murchison Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28390).
