With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Hughes of Burgaw, North Carolina, who passed away on February 4, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Hughes and Maggie Hughes. He is survived by : his wife Mildred Henderson Hughes; his children, Donna Hughes of Myrtle Beach, SC, Sharon Hughes of Warsaw, Karen Hughes of Warsaw, Carlton Hughes of Newton Grove and Brian Hughes of Arlington, TX; and his sister Margaret Hutchinson of Wilmington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
