He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Owen Cowan and Nealie Dale Cowan; and his wife Patricia "Pat" Leimone Cowan. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Huffman, Melissa Cowan and Jennifer Holland (Paul); his grandsons, Hudson James Huffman and Banks Cowan Holland; and his siblings, Joyce James and Kenneth "Pete" Cowan (Sue). He is also survived by several nieces: and many loyal friends.
