She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Earl Nye and Mary Clark Thompson; and her brother Robert "Toby" Earl Nye. She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Thompson (Jeff Kilgore) and Lori Thompson; and her granddaughters, Ella Grace Kilgore and Ava Pearl Wells.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Horeb Presbyterian Church Cemetery (24 Lisbon Rd, Council, NC 28434).
