He is survived by: his children, Willie Jernell Keaton Jr. and Courtney Whitest; and his siblings, Alfredia Bailey, Harold Keaton, Juanita Freeman, Ernestine Keaton, Cecile Bryant, Faydene Greene, Randolph Keaton, Lionel Keaton and Devoria Berry. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dunn Funeral Home Chapel (810 W Wilmington St, Burgaw, NC 28425). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (2020 Woodyard Rd, Riegelwood, NC 28456).
