It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Altavista Albright Pruitt (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on June 26, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Lem Albright, Sr. and Achsah Moore Albright; her brothers, Cecil Lem Albright, Jr., Joe Albright and Isaac Albright; and her daughter-in-law Phyllis Turner Pruitt.
She is survived by: her son Rickey Herman Pruitt; her stepgrandsons, Phillip Mauldin and Gary Mauldin; her siblings, Frances Taylor (Harris) and Ben Albright; and her sister-in-law Barbara Albright. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
