She was predeceased by: her husband Robert John Brummer; her parents, Thomas Squires and Myrtle Douglas Squires; and her sons, Robert Michael Brummer and John Wesley Brummer.
She is survived by: her grandson Wesley Z. Brummer (Kathryn); and her great grandchild William Yates Brummer of Raleigh.
