Betty Simmons Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Simmons of Burlington, North Carolina, born in South Hill, Virginia, who passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert James and Mattie Kidd Moore; and her husband Pastor Garland Lester Simmons, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Randy Simmons (Becky), Beverly Bray (Howard), Butch Simmons (Delana), Donna Crutchfield (Ricky), Anita Thursa Kidd (Chris) and Tommy Simmons (Mandy); and her siblings, Clyde Moore, Lonnie Moore (Peggy) and Jean Morris. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
