He was predeceased by: his parents, Addison "Ted" Yarborough Saul, Sr. and Ruth Smithey Saul; his wife Ida Mae Tunstall Saul; his great grandchild Adrian Thomas Howard; his daughter Bonnie Saul Herring; and his siblings, Levi D. Saul, Sr. of Addison, Yarbrough Saul, Jr., Jeanette Apple, Mary Beale and Alice Baughn.
He is survived by: his children, Hattie Saul Sheets (Dennis) and Michael "Mike" Saul (Laura Ruis); his son-in-law Don Herring; his stepdaughter Brenda Saunders (Barry); his grandchildren, Christopher Michael Saul (Courtney) and Lindsey Ann Boggs (Taylor Howard); his close friend Doris Clark; his sister Patsy S. Haizlip (Leon); and his sisters-in-law, Alene Saul and Irene Saul. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
