It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Phillips of Burlington, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on January 28, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William R. Madden and Margaret Poe Madden; her daughter Vickie Johnson (Garry); her brothers, Marvin Madden (Butch) and Gordon L. Madden, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Diane W. Madden.
She is survived by: her husband Glenn Phillips; her children, Lynnette Phillips Thacker (Dan Thacker, Jr.) of Mebane and Bill Phillips (Paula) of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Erin Ashley Huffman, Charlie Ross, Katie Johnson, Kristi Zalesky, Brian Johnson and Alan Johnson; and her siblings, Dorothy Rogers (Mike) of Burlington and Albert Madden (Vera) of Burlington. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
