She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Wendell Kernodle; her parents, Van Cantrell and Della Ingle Cantrell; and her siblings, George Garland Cantrell, Walter Cantrell, Louise Cantrell Huffines and Alma Cantrell.

She is survived by: her daughter Cathy Kernodle Davis; her granddaughters, Amanda Troxler (Spencer Gaither) and Melissa Anne Kernodle (Joseph Casertano, Jr.); and her siblings, Charlie Cantrell and Inez King. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
