We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2021, at the age of 77, Delores Foster of Burlington, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry and Juanita Chrismon Ireland. She is survived by: her children, Sheila Lackey (Scott), Sonjia Cross (Chad) and Dwayne Smithey; her grandchildren, Amanda Lackey Powell (Thomas), Sierrah Cross, Tristan Cross, Chloe Cross, Matthew Smithey and Tyler Smithey; and her brothers, James Ireland, Jr. (Clara) and Ronald Ireland (Marlene).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
