It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Thompson (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on July 16, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Wagoner and Ruby Wagoner; her husband Albert Thompson, Jr. (Rusty); and her son Todd Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Dale Thompson (Linda), David Thompson (Elaine) and Debbie Small (Les); her grandchildren, Emily Thompson McCoy (Adam) and Scotti Thompson (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Tyler Strickland, Noah McCoy, Grant Thompson and Griffin Thompson; her stepgrandchildren, Shane Hardee (Rhian), Chad Hardee and Jonni Snyder (Glenn); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Lillie Hardee, Cole Hardee and Tayson Snyder; her brothers, Ernest and William Wagoner (Billy); and also Sue Chapman.
