With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Flossie Mae Wright Gant (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on August 1, 2021 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Wright and Roberta Sellars Wright; her husband George Davis Gant; her daughter Ruby Mae Dixon; and her siblings, William Wright, James Wright, Eulis Wright, Charlie Wright, Aubrey Wright, Nellie Richmond and Claudia Miller.
She is survived by: her children, David Gant Jr. (Sharon) of Graham, Elton Lewis Gant (Angela) of Mebane, Yvonne Owens of Burlington and Roberta Stone (Melvin) of Graham; and her sister-in-law Leona. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
