He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Edward Chambers and Cora Belle Baynes Chambers; and his siblings, Lucille Chambers Slade, Hubert Hover Chambers and Flossie Chambers Redd.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Duck Brailey Chambers; his children, Patricia Alice Chambers of Graham, NC, Gwenn Carson (Mario Carson) of Buffalo, NY, George Thomas Chambers of Burgaw, NC, James E Chambers, Renea Chambers of Indian Springs, Dwayne Kendel Chambers and Audie Chambers of Beltsville, MD; and his grandchildren, Aaron T. Chambers, Brain T. Chambers, Brandon T. Chambers, Jaye Wilson Chambers, Janea E. Chambers, Shantonia Graves, Natasha Herring, Carmel Carson, Lindsey Carson and Robert Carson. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces & nephews other relatives and friends.
