It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Graves Loy (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on November 5, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul M. Graves and Novella Isley Graves; and her siblings, Faye Coble, Christine Graves and Cline Graves.
She is survived by: her children, JoAnne Carter, Robbie of Mebane, Sharron Butler, David of Snow Camp, Greg Loy, Karen of Burlington, Drew Loy, Sandra Wood and Jim of Snow Camp; her grandchildren, Brian Carter (Jennifer), Daniel Carter (Penny), Kelly Butler Inman (Jerry), Janna Carter Wimbish (Chris), Mindy Carter Wertheim (Darren), Suzanne Butler Sharpe (Jason), Paul Carter, Ross Wood (Ashley) and Mason Wood; and her great grandchildren, Megan, Emily, Chase, Zachary, Noah, Casey, Brandy, Ashley, Tucker, Hunter, Payton, Summer, Brayden, Sawyer, Griffin, Addison and Smith.
