We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2020, at the age of 82, Gloris Jean Ray (Burlington, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Ray and Corinna Pinnix Ray; her children, Gale Thomas and Catherine Woods; and her siblings, Edward, Tommie Ray and Vedie Bell Enoch.
She is survived by: her children, Regina Albino (Cerilo) of Burlington, Debbie Kay Slade Woods of Burlington, Connie F. Slade of Burlington and Reverend William C. Slade (Tamara) of Madison, AL; and her sisters, Carrie Thompson of Altamahaw, Doretha Ray Parker of Reidsville and Mae Ruth Maynard of Baltimore, MD. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, social distancing will be observed with a limited amount in attendance.
