It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Profitt Sr. of Burlington, North Carolina, born in Letcher, Kentucky, who passed away on August 9, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Millard and Mary Collins Profitt. He is survived by: his wife Joan Carolyn Profitt; his children, Barbara Chambers (Rodney Ashcraft), Harold Lee Profitt, Jr. (Wendy Rigney) and Angela Lynn Profitt (Lynn Roberts); his grandchildren, Courtney, Cory, Emily, Christian and Faith; and his great grandchild Grayson Knox.
