She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl May, Sr. and Johnsie Mariah Friddle Sharpe; her husband Walter "Walt" Boyd, Sr.; her daughter Sherry Satterfield Talley; and her siblings, Harvey Friddle, Cozy Satterfield and Carl May, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Terri Satterfield Hatcher (Danny); and her grandchildren, Shannon Randleman (Elizabeth), Chad Randleman, Stephanie Pritchett, Kimberly Brooke Oakes (Chris), Josh Talley (Heather), Lacey Elizabeth Warden (John) and Nick Hatcher (Hailey Davis). She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
