It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Otis Smith (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on November 14, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar K. Smith and Mary Murray Smith; his siblings, Everett, Marion, Albert, Aaron Smith and Uyvonne S. Andrews; and his granddaughter Kendra.
He is survived by: his spouse Elizabeth Ann Brooks Smith; his sons, Dwight (Joanna Smith), Douglas (Pam Smith) and Philip (René Smith); and his grandchildren, Brandon Smith (April), Cory Smith (Dawnn), Kirsten Whitley (Aaron) and Michael Smith. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and also nieces and nephews.
