It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Cobb of Burlington, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on July 16, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Whitfield and Cornelia Trollinger; her son Carlos Whitfield; and her brothers, Frank Whitfield, Charles Whitfield, William Whitfield, Barry Whitfield and Hulon Shaw.
She is survived by: her husband Terrance Cobb; her children, Clifford Whitfield (Cathy), Howard Rogers and Alecia Whitfield; and her siblings, Angelo Whitfield, David Whitfield, Judy Whitfield and Audrey Wright (Richard). She is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and dear friends.
