She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Hensley and Mary Lou Gerringer Hensley. She is survived by: her husband Randall Kornegay, Jr.; her daughters, Wendy Newsome of Burlington and Christy Newsome of Haw River; her grandson Lucas Newsome of Charlotte; and her sister Bonnie Page of Elon.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pine Hill Cemetery (1200 S Main St, Burlington, NC 27215).
