He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wright and Gracie Goins Wright; his wife Kathleen Harris Goins; and his siblings, Joseph Leroy Wright Jr., Brenda Walker, Pennelope "Penny" Miles and Frances "Neat" Sellars.
He is survived by: his sister Hilda Harvey; and his stepdaughter Doretha Ann Harris. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other family members and friends.
