With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Hamby of Burlington, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on July 10, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynch Hocutt Hamby and Juanita Proffitt Hamby. He is survived by: his brother David Lee Hamby (Nancy).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made out to the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell or the Front Street United Methodist Church Music Fund.
