He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his sons, Jose Jr., Juan, David, Dana and Vincent; his sisters, Elsa Gualdarrama, Juana Santiago and Maria Fore; his brother-in-law Gerald Fore; his brother Juan Hernandez; his sisters-in-law, Ada Hernandez and Carmelita Bracker; his mother-in-law Dematris Lester; and his niece Betzy Hernandez. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
