It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Dix of Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on July 21, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Carlyle Loftis Sr. and Myrtle Garrison Loftis; her husband Floyd E.; her son Darrell Eugene; and her siblings, Bradford Loftis, George Loftis, Adele Loftis Marlowe, Louise Loftis Walker, Lois Loftis Gooch, Wynell Loftis Gooch and Carol Loftis Wetzler.
She is survived by: her children, Brittainy of Burlington, Anita, Beverly, Cathy Ann and Jackie Lee Wood (Derrick) of Burlington; her grandchildren, Layla Yankle, Karla Wilson Mann, Gari Ann Wilson Rugg, Jonathan Howerton, Michael Howerton, Ally Howerton, Orion McHugh, Amber Vaziri Vaughn, Kalah Smith, Mikel McCauley, Megan Snead and David Wood; her great grandchildren, Kendle Storey, Ethan Storey, Isabella, Judah Yankle, Madison Oliver, Kamdyn Wagner, Adriana Mann, Adeline Rugg, Harper Howerton, Easton Joines, Elijah Marchi, Maverick Vaughn, Jaylen Lewis, Aiden Duffey and Carson Ellis; and her friend Dotty Lee Crawford.
