She was predeceased by: her father Weldon A. Berry; and her siblings, Atwood Berry, James Berry and Audrey Berry Killmon. She is survived by: her husband Donald Fulton Mears; her children, David Mears (Janette) of Amherst, VA and Susan Mears Nance (Joel) of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren, Jessica Mears Markey (Bobby), Jonathan Mears, Jason Nance, Daniel Nance and Kelly Nance; and her great grandchild Luke Markey.
