She was predeceased by: her spouse Woodrow Royster; her children, Peggy Hightower of Burlington, Glenda Chavis of Burlington, Mary Delois Johnson of Burlington, Gloria Corbett of Burlington, Andrew Royster, James D. Royster and Carlton Royster (Denise) of Saxapahaw; and her siblings, Elois Corbett and Fran Holman of Chicago. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren.
