She was predeceased by: her sisters, Elnora Farmer, Elizabeth Adams and Marjorie Lea. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Garland (Connie) of Richmond, VA., Ricky Leon Garland of Burlington, NC and Carol Denise Garland of Ruffin, NC; and her brother James Adams of Lincolnton, NC. She is also survived by three grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
