She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Harvey Barnwell and Mary Omie Satterfield Barnwell; her husband A. Marshall Gentry; her children, Hyrum Gentry and Lisa Gentry; and her siblings, J. C., Banks, James, Ike, Russell, Giles, Roger, Inez, Mary and Odell.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne L. Gentry (Gayla) of Raleigh, NC, Kenneth H. Gentry (Suzanne) of Saffron Walden, England, Melinda G. Wilson (Herbert "Chip") of Winston-Salem, NC and D. Jean Gentry of Burlington, NC.; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Drew, David, Beth, Sarah, Katherine, Ryan and Rosie; and her great grandchildren, Kaiden, Cheyenne, Benjamin, Rowan, Mary, Reid, Lulu, Hannah and Nora. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
