She was predeceased by: her spouse Cornelius Odell Loy; her parents, Ernest A. Denham and Rosa Byrd Denham; her son Odell Van Loy; and her siblings, Sylvia Denham Abbey and Ernest A. Denham.
She is survived by: her sister Ollie Denham Hill of Supply, NC; her granddaughters, Tonya Scott Hamlett of Burlington and Sandi Scott Thompson of Snow Camp; and her great grandchildren, London Hamlett, Nicholas Thompson, Scotty Thompson and Grant Thompson.
