She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Boyd Adkins and Susie Farthing Adkins; her close friend James Mebane; her children, John Gerringer (Laura), Andy Gerringer (Tammy) and Tammy Harvey; her grandchildren, Johnathon Gerringer, Amber Scoggins, Drew Gerringer and Noah Gerringer; her stepgrandsons, John Hayes and David Hayes; her great grandchildren, Kaleb, Lilly and Braedyn; and her siblings, David Adkins (Tina), Ruby Conklin, Helen Peznosky and Hermine Harward.
