With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Henderson Metcalf of Burlington, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on August 14, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Henderson and Floy Baker; and her sister Wilma Crowder. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Blevins (Tom) of Graham and Richard Metcalf (Robin) of Asheboro; her granddaughter Rachel Blevins of Graham; her brother Robert Baker of Burlington; and her close friend Betty Wilson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
