It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Tate of Burlington, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on July 16, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterling James Gee and Onie Marie Brooks Gee. She is survived by: her children, Erik James Tate (Krystal) of Burlington and Cynthia Elaine Tate-Gibson (Jason) of Banner Elk, NC; and her siblings, James Gee (Jodie) of Hartsville, SC and Patricia Smith (Doyle) of Burlington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
