With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ralph Meares (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Tabor City, North Carolina, who passed away on October 31, 2018 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Rowland Jason; his daughter Nora Luann Meares; and his siblings, Norlie (Marlene), Quittie (Mary Jane), Hubert (Meredith), Luther (Marie) and Kathleen Duncan (Jack).
He is survived by: his parent Ethel Sealey Meares; his wife Josephine Hayes Meares; his sons, Ralph Timothy Meares (Diane) of Kernersville and Samuel Lane Meares; and his grandchildren, Luke Lewis Meares and Rachel Erin Meares.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Music Memorial Fund at Macedonia Lutheran Church, 421 West Front Street, Burlington, North Carolina 27215.
