He was predeceased by: his father Nelson Dale Weatherford; his stepfather Paul Morton; and his father-in-law A. Y. Saul, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Jane Trogdon Weatherford; his wife Sylvia Weatherford; his siblings, Cherî Wolf (Ken Ferguson), Mark Weatherford (Diane), Chris Weatherford (Erica), Dale Weatherford, Jr. (Sara) and Jonathan Weatherford; and his mother-in-law Irene Crumpton Saul. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
