It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Timothy Parker of Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on January 10, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Hudson Parker and Ruthie Lee Taylor Parker; his wife Annie Ruth Webb Parker; his sister Sandra Parker Foy; and his half-brother Curtis Parker.
He is survived by: his daughter Maria Parker Hoyt (Randall Hoyt, II) of Elkin, NC; his grandchildren, Tana Smith (Aaron Wells) of Chapel Hill, NC and Hank Porter of Elkin, NC; his sister Judie C. Gray of Waynesboro, VA.; and his cousin Inez Huggins of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also survived by several other cousins, nieces, nephews.
If anyone would like to make a contribution in his honor, a scholarship fund to benefit a student from Alamance County was established by him and his daughter in honor of his late wife at Elon University.
