Virginia Jones Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Jones (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Ketron, Jr. and Elaine Lankford Ketron; her daughter Shawna Jean Jones; and her siblings, Harry Ketron and Phyllis Newcomer.

She is survived by: her husband Marven Jones; her children, Marven "Joey" Jones (Tasha), Laura Trahan (Irvin) and Natalie Estes (Jeff); her grandchildren, Corey Lawson, Cody Lawson, Dillon Mansfield, Hannah Mansfield, William "Will" Jones, Elliott Jones and Samuel Jones; her great grandchildren, Conner Lawson and Carlyeen Lawson; and her sister Bay Jones (Phillip). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made in Virginia's name to the VA Medical Center.
