He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Kimbro and Wilma Kirkman Kimbro; and his wife Roxanne Holmes Kimbro. He is survived by: his sons, Neil Kimbro (Jenny), Phillip Kimbro (Chrissy) and Michael Kimbro (Lisa); his siblings, Wade Kimbro and Wanda Gillispie (Bill); his grandchildren, Wyatt, Lacey, Faith, Ruth, Grace and Jacob; and his great grandchild Kai.
