She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Edward and Cora Bell Baynes Chambers; her daughters, Peggy Parker of Burlington and El Marie Parker-Brodie (Ronnie) of Wake Forest; her husband Clay Parker, Sr.; her sons, Clay Parker, Jr., James Parker, Carwell Parker, Larry Parker and Tommie Parker; and her siblings, Lucille Slade, Flossie Redd Walker, Herbert Chambers and Wilson Chambers.
She is survived by: her siblings, Willie "Billy" Chambers (Jackie) of Graham and Carol Evans (Rudy) of Burlington; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Watkins of Burlington and Agnes Chambers of Graham; her daughter-in-law Patricia Parker of Burlington; and her caregivers, Kaye Parker, Jeanette Wiley, Cynthia Snipes, Sarah Oliver, Alma Knight, Julia Ross and Jeanette Hewitt. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 27 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of dear great nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends.
