She was predeceased by : her parents, Clayton Garland and Blanche Webb Garland; and her siblings, Sarah Garland, Ralph and Ray Garland.
She is survived by : her husband Jack Byrd; her children, Donna Canipe (Richard), Daniel Byrd (Mahala) of Mitchell County and Mark Byrd (Nancy) of Mitchell County; her grandchildren, Justin Canipe (Lindsey), Kathryn Hoilman (Corey), Zachary Wiseman (Katie Tourto) and Jackson Byrd; and her great grandchildren, Cade Canipe, Keller Canipe, Avery Hoilman and Benjamin Hoilman.
