We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2025, at the age of 95, Betty Ann Banks Young (Burnsville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kerl and Julia Allen Banks; her brothers, Ben Lee Banks and William Andrew Banks; and her sister-in-law Virginia.
She is survived by: her husband Earl Young; her children, Julena McQueen (Jim) and Sam Young (Kim); her grandsons, Jared McQueen and Joshua Young (Julia); her great grandchild George; and her sisters-in-law, Janet Banks and Helen King. She is also survived by her family, supporting her children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Higgins Methodist Church (101 N Main St, Burnsville, NC 28714). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
