She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Grindstaff and Ellen Grindstaff; her husband Arthur "Sonny" Frye; her siblings, Maxine Duncan, Maphra Armstrong, Phillip and James Grindstaff; and her pet Jasmine.
She is survived by: her son David Frye (Susan) of Burnsville; her grandson Thomas McBee of Burnsville; and her sister Velma Conrad of Burnsville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
