With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Edward Hughes (Burnsville, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hughes and Mable Vaughner Hughes; his wife Donna Allen Hughes; and his siblings, Robert, Carlie, Ruben and Mary Hughes.
He is survived by: his children, Charles "Ferby" Hughes (Janna) of Pensacola and Michelle "Worm" Hensley (Brian) of Fox Creek; his grandson Bryson Hensley; his siblings-in-law, Linda Allen of Pensacola, David Allen of Asheville, Randy Allen and Ricky "Cheese" Allen of Pensacola; and his pet Itsy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
