He was predeceased by : his parents, John Wilson and Madge Burleson Wilson; his son Kameron Wayne Wilson; and his grandparents, Odie, Ada Burleson, George and Bertie Wilson.

He is survived by : his wife Ann Davis Wilson of Spruce Pine; his sons, Kaelen Wilson (Shannah) of Penland and Kurtis Wilson of Spruce Pine; his grandchildren, Anthony, Theodore and Braylan; his parents-in-law, Cleo and Rebecca Davis of Penland; his uncle Cecil Burleson of Burnsville; and his cousins, Kenneth and David Huskins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Yancey Funeral Service (378 Charlie Brown Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
